They warned her of the approaching danger, a dark sorcerer named Yuan who sought to open the Dragon's Gate for his own malevolent purposes. "Yuan is a cunning man," one of the Xiāo said. "He will stop at nothing to achieve his goal."

Despite the warnings, Yun's resolve never wavered. She knew that she was the only one who could protect the Dragon's Gate. Yet, as she reached the final trial, she was met with a betrayal that shook her to her core. The one she had trusted the most, her closest ally, was revealed to be Yuan's pawn. "I had to do it," her ally confessed, "to save our people."
